Ever a fan of older games that have dated user interfaces - I wanted to take a stab at modernizing the interface of my favorite real-time strategy games, Command and Conquer Generals.
The goal was to simplify the old-school “tangible looking” interface, with something more abstract but appropriately themed. In addition I added elements that I’ve found on other RTS games that would add control and functionality to the game.

Please note that the thumbnails are the original from the game, and are very pixelated and dated. These were not updated as part of this project.
